Our driving instructors are trained to a high standard, giving you the confidence that you are receiving professional, effective tuition designed to help you become a safe and confident driver and give you the best possible chance of passing your driving test.
Our instructors have a proven track record of success, with excellent student pass rates. While the national practical driving test pass rate is around 45%, we achieve almost double that rate, making us proud of the results achieved by our pupils and we continually work to maintain the highest standards of driving tuition.

Our Driving Instructor Policy
At Bay School of Motoring, we expect all our driving instructors to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, conduct and tuition.
Our instructors follow clear policies covering their behaviour, teaching standards and responsibilities towards pupils. They are expected to act professionally and respectfully at all times and to teach safe, up-to-date driving techniques in accordance with current DVSA guidance and recommended learning standards.
You can be confident that you will always be treated with courtesy, patience and respect by your Bay School of Motoring instructor.
Everyone learns at a different pace, so your instructor will take the time to understand your individual needs and tailor each lesson to suit your ability, confidence and progress. You'll never be rushed into taking your test before you're ready.
When your instructor believes you have reached the required standard and are ready for your practical driving test, they will discuss this with you and explain the test process, what to expect on the day and how best to prepare.
